Evident Change Consultant, William Nguyen, and SFNFCI staff Rachel Andal (SDM Consultant), Brianna Raine (SDM Consultant) and Misty Kay (Learning Operations Coordinator) hosted an Evident Change workshop with the focus on SDM Safety Assessment and Planning workshop for First Nations Child and Family Service workers September 20th and September 21, 20222.
On September 22, 2022, the day was structured for FN CFS Agency Supervisors in developing and learning diverse ways to support workers in the use of the SDM safety assessment and SDM planning. The training was held at the Smiley’s restaurant in Saskatoon, Saskatchewan – where there was so much variety of food to choose from!
It was great to be able to meet in person with Elder Ernestine Starr who provided elder services throughout the three days of training. There were many laughs, stories, and information sharing between all the agencies and SFNFCI.
