PLEASE SEE NOTE: IA Group plans in Response to COVID-19
During COVID-19 SFNFCI is planning to keep the IA group engaged and connected to supports and resources for on-reserve programming and any updates from ISC.
During this time SFNFCI will be blogging and posting these updates and resources to our webpage www.sfnfci.ca. All information will be saved in PDF format and will be updated on a bi-weekly basis or as often as necessary.
We are also planning on holding Video/Tele Conferencing with the IA group using platforms such as Zoom or Webex in June 2020. Given the large representation of the IA group, we are looking into communication methods that will scale the group to become regionally specific. We understand the need for communication to be extremely important during this time and keeping everyone connected is a priority we have taken pride in.
SFNFCI is also connecting with others we serve to hear about the kind of work First Nations communities are doing in regards to COVID-19. Our intentions are to share stories in a series of blogs that will also be posted to our webpage.
