Members

The Institute is a non-profit organization, incorporated under the Saskatchewan Non-Profit Corporations Act.  The Institute provides professional services to First Nations Child and Family Services Agencies who provide child protection and prevention services in First Nations communities.

The Institute has one class of members: voting members.  Currently, sixteen of the seventeen First Nations Child and Family Service Agencies in Saskatchewan are members.

Stakeholders

The Institute works very closely with the First Nations Group Homes in Saskatchewan. The Board of Directors and Staff of the First Nations Group Homes are often involved in many of the activities and professional development services that the Institute undertakes to assist in building capacity for First Nations Child Welfare workers.
