Integrated Practices Exploration Workshop with Peggy Cordero

Location: Tropical Inn - 1001 SK-16 North Battleford, SK.

Integrated Practices Exploration Workshop: "Mapping the Three Questions Using the CAP Framework" and "Using the Three Houses/Safety House Tool in Child Interviewing"

Please join us on March 27th, 28th and 29th, 2018 for a three day workshop facilitated by Peggy Cordero, Senior Program Specialist, from the Children's Research Center.   Peggy is going to share information on several specific Integrated Practices in Child Protection. These practices are based on several key objectives: building good working relationships with families, critical thinking and decision making, and enhanced safety all with the goal of best outcomes for families.

These practices are also designed to enhance the use of the SDM assessments in Child Protection. They give the workers the practical skills required to gather information and engage with families in a meaningful and helpful way. Your agencies will already be doing a lot of this great work in current practice, and this will be an opportunity to enhance that great work.

A small snack in the morning will be provided along with lunch and refreshments throughout the day.

Time: 9:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.

There is no cost to attend this workshop. For more information call Laura ext.224 or Rachel ext. 228 at 306-373-2874 or email laura@sfnfci.ca  or Rachel@sfnfci.ca

****Please note this workshop will also be offered in Prince Albert on February 20th, 21st, and 22nd****
